Sharing from the parents of Chau Hoi Primary School students at the closing ceremony of the Happy School Project.

"After participating in the training sessions of the project, my child has become more self-conscious in personal hygiene activities, self-care, and daily activities are now more organized and tidy. The positive changes in my child surprised me a lot. Thank the project for providing such useful training sessions for the children!" This is the sharing of Ms. Lu Thi Hong Van, a parent of a student at Chau Hoi Ethnic Semi-boarding Primary School, Quy Chau district, Nghe An province.

Ms. Van and her son participated in the Closing Ceremony of the “Happy School” project and the Reading culture promotion day organized by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) in coordination with the Department of Education and Training of Quy Chau district (Nghe An).

Ms. Van said that she heard a lot from her child about the training sessions he attended at school. After each training session, she saw her child becoming more mature and confident. Therefore, when she heard about the ClosingCeremony of the “Happy School” project and the Reading culture promotion day, she and her child go to school to participate in the project activities together.

The Closing Ceremony was successfully held amidst the joy of both teachers and students of Chau Hoi Ethnic Semi-boarding Primary School. In this event, students participated in 11 exciting games to promote reading culture, reinforce knowledge of general science, environmental protection, nutrition - health, and gender equality. On this occasion, 5,256 books worth 250 million VND were donated to 15 schools in Quy Chau district.

The Happy School Project is a long-term project implemented by VSF since the 2022-2023 academic year in two provinces: Lao Cai and Son La province. In the academic year 2023-2024, the project continues to bring meaningful activities to Nghe An province with the companionship of TH Group and BAC A BANK. The project is a comprehensive solution to contribute to improving infrastructure and enhancing the capacity of teachers and students in schools in difficult regions. This is one of the next efforts of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation to contribute to the National Target Programs and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
