Positive discipline is an educational approach that focuses on guidance rather than punishment. It helps children acknowledge their mistakes, take responsibility, and change their behavior without emotional harm. This method not only shapes their actions but also builds confidence, self-control, and stronger connections with parents and teachers.
Instead of using harsh words or physical discipline, parents and teachers can listen, explain, and help children reflect on their actions. Raising children with love and respect will help them develop into responsible individuals who care for others.
Raising a child is a long journey, and positive discipline is essential in helping them understand right from wrong. Recognizing this, this weekend, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation will hold a positive discipline training session for teachers at Ha Son Primary School, Quy Hop district, Nghe An province. This session is part of the Happy School project, which aims to improve the quality of education for students in mountainous areas and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
