Phu Quoc has been becoming the economic center of tourism, ecotourism services of Vietnam with a sharp increase in tourist arrivals. However, along with this rapid development, a large amount of waste has been released into the environment, especially the marine environment. Realizing this serious problem, this proposal has been carried out in Phu Quoc island.

The series of articles reflects the actual situation taking place on Phu Quoc island. Thereby, this helps change the awareness of people and tourists about plastic waste, and at the same time contributing to promoting reasonable solutions to protect the marine environment of Phu Quoc.
