The "Looking back at Decree 45/2022/ND-CP on sanctioning administrative violations in the environment field after two months of implementation" proposal by reporters Nguyen Le Hai Ha and Vu Thi Thuy Tien from Hanoi Radio - Television Station is the follow-up to eight completed proposals that have already received funding from the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation.

The Government published Decree No. 45 on July 7, 2022, about the sanctioning of administrative violations in the area of environmental protection. This decree contains numerous requirements regarding the sanction of violations on polluting discharges of both individuals and firms. Particularly punish households when they do not classify their garbage.

Reporters Hai Ha and Thuy Tien made a suggestion to find solutions for pertinent units to overcome the drawbacks and actively promote the advantages and help people understand so that the law is implemented more effectively. This was done with the intention of looking back at the results after two months of implementation. The proposal was made in the form of a report titled "Issues Surrounding Decree 145/2022," in which Dr. Tran Van Mieu, Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Nature and Environment, took part. Specifically, the report focuses on the following three factors:

Increase public awareness of the value of waste classification

Determine stringent and synchronized handling procedures

Call each citizen for the garbage classification at the source
