For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) is currently seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position: Project Assistant

Workplace: Opera Business Center, 60 Ly Thai To, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi

Type of job: Full-time

Expected starting date: 17/7/2023

Monthly Remuneration: Will discuss during interview

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Assist the Project Manager in planning and implementing the activities of projects, guaranteeing quality and efficiency.

- Provides administrative support in implementation of activities (such as preparing logistics for events/meetings/workshop/training courses, etc.).

- Maintain up-to-date files and records of project documentation.

- Monitoring and evaluation activities of the project, in articulation with the Project Manager.

- Support the timely preparation and submission of progress reports, donor reports, project reviews and any other required project reports;

- Translation from Vietnamese to English and vice versa.

- Perform any other tasks as required by Project Manager.

Required skills and experience:

- At least two years of experience as a project assistant. Practical working experience in development projects is preferable.

- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

- Proactive, dynamic, responsible, agile, careful, creative and strong passion for serving the society.

- Skills: Good communication and presentation skills, good planning and organizing skills.

- Language: Fluent in Vietnamese and English (verbal and written)

- Education: Graduated from universities.

Background

For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) is a non-profit foundation, established and licensed by the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2014 to contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with particular emphasis on SDGs related to education, equality, health and environment.

To achieve this mission, VSF has been implementing 5 core programs: i) School Nutrition Program; ii) Child Protection Program; iii) Young Talents Nurturing Program; iv) Act For Environment Program; v) Women Development Program.

Apart from the major projects to turn five core programs into reality, VSF also regularly perform activities to promote gender equality, conducts or sponsors charitable and humanitarian activities such as the program to accompany Government in the fight against COVID-19, the Blood Donation Program “Red Sunday”, “Tet for the poor”, heart surgery for children, civil construction such as building schools for poor students in highland areas, building bridges, etc.
