De A school site (Long Phieng commune, Son La province) enters the completion phase

These days, in De A Village (Long Phieng commune, Son La province), the De A school site of Chieng Tuong Primary School is gradually taking shape. The structural work and basic plastering have been finished; the contractor is currently implementing completion items such as roof installation, wall finishing, floor tiling and landscaping of the school ground to ensure quality and construction progress.

The project is being constructed by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) in coordination with the Youth Union of BAC A BANK, Tien Phong Newspaper and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Son La province. Alongside the classroom building, the playground and the access road to the school site are also under construction, step by step completing the new look of this highland school.

According to the plan, the project will be completed and put into use after Tet, contributing to improving the learning conditions for about 50 Hmong ethnic students and providing a safer, more spacious and better-equipped learning space.

The De A school site has a total construction budget of 554 million VND, including 2 classrooms, a restroom, a playground and an access road system. This is a meaningful gift that VSF and our partners present to the teachers and students in this challenging highland area.
