Inauguration of 10 gratitude houses in the highlands of Nghe An border

On the morning of February 22nd 2023, 10 gratitude houses were inaugurated and handed over to 10 families with disadvantaged circumstances in Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province. This is a meaningful gift given by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), TH Group and BAC A BANK with a total value of 600,000,000 VND.

Ky Son is a mountainous border district, located in the west of Nghe An, one of the most underprivileged regions of Nghe An. In addition to the rough terrain, the locals have to suffer substantial damage caused by floods every year. Many of them have no home or just live in makeshift huts, especially in 2022. Responding to the poverty reduction scheme in Na Ngoi commune of the housing support for poor households with disadvantaged backgrounds, Labor Hero Thai Huong - Chairman of the Strategy Council of TH Group, General Director of BAC A BANK, Chairwoman of the Management Board of VSF had given meaningful gifts during her business trip in April 2022.

According to Mr. Vu Ba Ly, Secretary of Na Ngoi Commune’s Communist Party Committee, before the support, among the households, there were 03 households that had no home and 07 households with makeshift huts (made of bamboo and neohouzeaua). “When hearing the news of 10 house being supported to build by VSF, TH Group and BAC A BANK, the households were very thrilled because these support really fulfilled the needs of them and this action means a lot to assist them having a stable house to settle down their life” - Mr. Ly told.

Carrying out corporate social responsibility, developing the spirit of solidarity of our ancestors, TH Group, BAC A BANK have always paid attention to voluntary and humanitarian activities, especially in contributing and accompanying with the Party and Government in taking care of people’s lives, implementing hunger eradication, poverty reduction and social security through VSF.

On February 4th 2023, in the Launching Ceremony of promoting and supporting in building houses for the poor, the disadvantaged in Nghe An province, TH Group and BAC A BANK via VSF donated 10 billion VND to supporting in building 200 houses for people with disadvantaged backgrounds in Nghe An.

On the morning of February 18th, 2023, in the meeting of Nghe An business people in Hanoi, TH Group and BAC A BANK via VSF continued to donate 5 billion VND to build houses for the poor in Nghe An.

Thus, there will be 300 houses for the poor sponsored by TH Group, BAC A BANK and VSF. More detailed information will be provided on VSF’s communication channels.
