After nearly 4 months of construction, the De A school site, part of Chieng Tuong Primary School in Long Phieng commune, Son La province, was officially inaugurated on April 28, 2026, amidst a warm and joyful atmosphere with teachers, students and local residents.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Cha A Cua - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La Province; Ms. Cam Thi Huyen Trang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union and Secretary of the Son La Provincial Youth Union; Mr. Quang Van Lam - Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training; Mr. Doan Van Tuan - Director of the Planning & Management Information Department and Secretary of the BAC A BANK Youth Union; Mr. Vu Huy Hoang - Program Manager of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), along with representatives from partner organizations, local authorities, parents and over 50 students.

The De A School Site was implemented by VSF and the BAC A BANK Youth Union, in collaboration with Tien Phong Newspaper and the Son La Provincial Youth Union, with a total budget of 554 million VND. Additionally, local authorities mobilized residents and youth union members to support the construction. The partner contractor contributed further by building the school gate and a concrete road, ensuring the project's comprehensive completion.

The school site consists of 2 classrooms, a sanitation area, a playground and access roads, helping to improve the learning and living conditions for more than 50 Mong ethnic students.

Notably, at the ceremony, the BAC A BANK Youth Union donated an additional 5 million VND to help the school complete its water supply system, ensuring essential living conditions for the children.

Sharing at the program, Mr. Doan Van Tuan -  Secretary of the BAC A BANK Youth Union, stated: “In line with BAC A BANK's guiding principle of 'For humanity' and from the desire to improve learning conditions for students in disadvantaged areas, the Warm school fund of the BAC A BANK Youth Union, in coordination with For Vietnamese Stature Foundation and other units, sponsored the De A project. Seeing the bright eyes of the students today, we feel even more deeply the significance of this work. It is the joy, the motivation, and the faith for us to continue our journey of building more school sites.”

This is the 4th project implemented by the BAC A BANK Youth Union in coordination with VSF in disadvantaged localities. Previously, the two organizations collaborated to build school sites in Nghe An, Ha Giang and Hoa Binh.

The completion of the project brought immense joy to the villagers, especially the parents.

“There were times when parents couldn't pick up their children from the temporary classroom on time, and they had to walk home by themselves until 1 PM. Now with the new school site, we are very happy; my child can go to school closer to home,” shared Ms. Thao Thi Pu, a student's parent, with emotion.

Dressed in neat clothes prepared by his mother, young Tanh Minh Tuong could not hide his excitement: “I love the new classroom so much; it’s very big and beautiful and there are even fans to keep us cool.”

On this occasion, the BAC A BANK Youth Union and VSF also presented a “Studious bookshelf", 1,152 glasses of TH true MILK and school supplies to further motivate the students on their journey to school.
