Update on the construction of “For Vietnamese Stature Foundation - No 3 Bridge"

After the groundbreaking ceremony being held at the end of June 2020, until now, the construction has completed the stage of pouring concrete on both sides of the abutment. The bridge is expected to be completed in October 2020.

After the groundbreaking ceremony being held at the end of June 2020, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) has cooperated with Tien Phong Newspaper and Na Hang District, Tuyen Quang Province to start the construction of the bridge. Until now, the construction has completed the stage of pouring concrete on both sides of the abutment. The bridge is expected to be completed in October 2020.

The bridge is located at a stream connecting Nam Duong village, Na Hang District, Tuyen Quang Province - the living area of the Dao ethnic group. Most of them are poor households. The bridge is a gift presented personally by Madam Thai Huong - Chairwoman of VSF’s Management Board, on the occasion of VSF’s 5th anniversary of establishment.

After finished, VSF Bridge will help 95 households to travel safely, especially during flood season, as well as partly reduce traffic pressure and boost the local economy.
